Paxos Restaurants has an immediate opening for a Sous Chef.
This position is responsible for:
- Plating of items and maintaining high quality standards relating to items leaving the kitchen
- Following recipes or guidelines, and also assist in developing line menu to complement overall menu
- Leading and motivating the kitchen team
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- 3 years minimum line cook experience in a fine dining restaurant
- Available to work weekends and holidays
- Thorough knowledge of pasta, meats, fish, poultry and game and the required cooking temperatures
- Broiler experience required
- Proven leadership skills
- Able to lift objects up to 40 pounds frequently
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Able to take direction and show initiative
